"She loved to dream. No, not the daydreams. Though, those were good too. What she loved was the night dreaming. Those deep slumber dreams. The dreams which felt like reality. And so she slept. Every chance she got. She made sure she was tired by night - working out, going to her classes, walking everywhere - the more tired the better. She quickly gained her ‘lazy’ reputation. You’re lazy, you’re always sleeping, you’re never awake, they said. She didn’t mind. Chamomile tea helped with sleep. So did her own concoction of lemon, cinnamon and mint tea. She downed those every night. Dreams were all she cared for. And when the new sleeping pills made her vision double, she freaked out and drew the line. Chamomile and lemon-cinnamon were back. You’re not just lazy, you’re depressed, you’re always sleeping, you need to change your routine - their accusations escalated. She didn’t mind. She told them she was getting things done on time, there’s no way she could be depressed or lazy. She just loved to dream. Because - her dreams were the only place she could be united with him."
